I ‘m a devoted writer, reader, and traveler. After working for nearly two decades in telecommunications marketing, I made the terribly impractical decision to quit my corporate job and write full-time. Today, I’ve traded my professional, “take me seriously” wardrobe for yoga pants, UGG slippers, and my laptop. I spends my days blissfully sweating out the writing process in the Dallas area with my dogs, Otis the Shih Tzu, Rocco the Terrier, and Red the Foxy Mutt.
My debut Thirsty Hearts series launched in 2016 with three books, Charming You, Choosing You, and Cherishing You—available on Valentine’s Day. Book four in the series, Chasing You, debuted in September. To sample of my work, check out my short story, Three Fridays, available on Amazon.com or as a free download on my website.
My favorite books include The Awakening and The House of Mirth, but I swear none of my modern heroines drown themselves or carelessly drift into a possibly fatal “rest.” I promise happy endings for contemporary women who live full lives that could use a little spice from love and a hot guy. My love of romance novels started as a child when I spent a summer reading through a giant trash bag of Harlequin Presents paperbacks discarded from the local library and snagged by my mother. My favorite romance authors include Jennifer Crusie, Rachel Gibson, Elizabeth Hoyt, and Courtney Milan—to name a few.
My passion for writing is only matched by my passion for the adventures of travel. In 2008, I let a friend talk me into sleeping outside for the first time in my life when I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
P.S. If you’re buying me a gift, I have a penchant for single-malt Scotch and scarves.
P.P.S In memory of my beautiful beagle, Cleo (2000-2015). She spent many days and nights warming my feet.
